The Chemical Overload: Reducing Toxic Exposure seminar brings together two formidable speakers and advocates in the field of preventative health and chemical free living. Numerous local and ethical businesses will also showcase their wares for attendees.

Dr Sarah Lantz

Dr Sarah Lantz is a writer, university lecturer and researcher, mama and an all-round chemical conscious nut. She has a background in nutrition, public health, environmental health, and specialises in the area of child and youth health and wellbeing. She is a frequent commentator in the media in the area of children's environmental health, and facilitates workshops and presentations across Australia. Dr Lantz authored the best-selling book Chemical Free Kids: Raising Healthy Children in a Toxic World which sold over 2000 copies in the first 5 weeks. She is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Queensland undertaking an international research project investigating children's environmental health policies across the globe. Dr Lantz passionately believes in conscious, compassionate parenting and is committed to organic living and developing a sustainable, natural environment for future generations.  She will explore why our babies are being born pre-polluted, what makes them particularly vulnerable, the vast array of chemicals found in everyday household products, and strategies for living healthier in a toxic world. Tabitha McIntosh

Tabitha is a qualified Naturopath and Clinical Nutritionist with a focus and solid clinical experience in women’s, infants & children's health. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Medical Science (UNSW); post graduate studies in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (Swinburne Uni); an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy; Diploma in Nutrition (Nature Care College, Sydney). She runs her own Naturopathic clinic in Woollahra, Sydney where she enjoys integrating Naturopathic healing Principles with the latest scientific research. Tabitha also regularly writes educational articles for various publications and lectures to her peers and the public.
